Carmine's is a legendary family-style Italian restaurant celebrated for its generous portions of Southern Italian classics, perfect for sharing. Come join us for a delectable two hour lunch, including Mixed Green Salad, Roasted Red Peppers & Fresh Mozzarella, Penne Ala Vodka, Rigatoni & Broccoli with Garlic & Oil, Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Parmigiana and Italian Cheesecake! Then we’ll take a short walk across the street to Shubert Theatre to experience Hell’s Kitchen, Broadway’s hit musical from Alicia Keys—inspired by her life, her music, and her community. The journey begins with Ali, a 17-year-old girl full of fire, searching for freedom, passion, and her place in the world. Along the way, you'll meet the musical mentor who changes her life, her dynamic family, and the neighborhood that helps her grow. Relatable, raw, and refreshingly fun, it's a celebration of finding yourself, your purpose, and the people who lift you up. The music—a mix of Keys’ classics and new songs written exclusively for the show—is brought to life through exhilarating choreography. It’s a soundtrack of rebellion, life, and love that speaks to you no matter where you’re from, where you’ve been, or where you’re going. After the 2 hour and 35 minute show, we’ll start our journey back home to the mall.
Registration will begin on Tuesday, April 29th for all Amityville Public Library cardholders and Friday, May 2nd for all non-Amityville Public Library cardholders.

Come explore Lyndhurst, a majestic estate on the banks of the magnificent Hudson River, where every visitor can experience firsthand an American icon of architecture and landscape. You will see the mansion’s two main floors filled with original decorative art and furniture from the three owners. You will learn about the estate’s 180-year history as well as the families’ lavish lifestyles at the height of the Gilded Age. After visiting the Mansion, you will take a leisurely stroll towards the Hudson River, winding your way past restored “outdoor rooms,” the site of an elaborate treehouse and rare trees and gardens. While you take in the best views of the river, you’ll hear about several outbuildings and the estate’s “recreation center.” The 90-minute tour ends with a visit to the restored 19th-century bowling alley with an exhibit on Lyndhurst owner Helen Gould and neighbor Madam C. J. Walker in the North Parlor as well as entering the South Parlor which features decorative arts and 1895 wicker furniture and of course the 1894 bowling lanes! Lyndhurst welcomes all visitors, but please note that this tour requires a trip up one staircase, down staircases, and extensive walking on uneven terrain, so please bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes. It is not recommended for those with mobility issues. The tour visits two floors of the mansion and only the first floor of the mansion is handicap accessible. There is no elevator in this historic building. After the 90 minute tour, we’ll have a little time to enjoy the beautiful landscape before heading into Tarrytown for lunch/shopping. Then we’ll start heading back to the mall at 3 p.m.
